Fox Hollow, West Virginia

SHOPS

Being an extremely small town, there aren't a lot of options in terms of storefronts. The town itself consists of a single intersection, where the main road branches in three directions. Passing straight will lead to the small housing section, while turning right or left will take a traveler to the various buildings that make up Fox Hollow. A gas station sits at the front road, while the short roads pass by a small grocery store, thrift shop, a library, cafe, and a fire station. Towards the edge of the main streets sits a clinic and schoolhouse.

RESIDENTIAL

At the town's peak, the population sat at 214 residents. Due to its small size and lack of diverse employment options, Fox Hollow's economics were mostly consistent among houses. Most are considerably modest, with aging infrastructure reminiscent of the early 1900s, and a noticeable lack of any new developments. Houses were built around five narrow streets, and towards the back of the small neighborhood, two large houses can be found. One housed the town's mayor, and the other housed a wealthy individual who preferred the slow, quiet life of Fox Hollow.

ABANDONED WAREHOUSE

Turning right on the main road through town will lead past some of the small businesses and continue on for two miles before reaching the long abandoned warehouse. Sometime in the 1910s, the warehouse was a source of economic power for the town, providing stable jobs and income for Fox Hollow residents. A fire broke out and destroyed most of the product and infrastructure of the warehouse, resulting in damages that couldn't be affordably repaired. It was said that the town would have grown if it wasn't for this accident, and the result would be a permanently stunted town.
