Welcome to Nowhere
- Literate play-by-post roleplay
- Mature and horror-based themes
- Post-apocalyptic with heavy aspects of North American folklore and focus on survival
The disappearance of humanity wasn’t overnight, but it was definitely at a noticeable rate. There was an alarm in everyone’s eyes as they began to realize there was something wrong. It took about a week for the smart ones to catch on; it was happening mostly at night, and it was happening to those who broke some long forgotten rules, once deemed just stories to scare children.
A broadcast would go out on the eighth day;
Do not whistle at night.
Do not go in the woods.
If you see something, no you didn’t.
If you hear your name, no you didn’t.
Do not talk to it or about it.
If the woods go quiet, run.
Now, all of the main radio channels seem to be stuck on a loop, repeating these words over and over. Many have died, leaving few people having to now survive on their own. No doctors, no teachers, no grocery stores.
Just a message that plays over, and over, and over.
