General Rules

• Be a nice person No racism, sexism, homophobia, political talk, religious talk, drama, unnecessary attitudes, and any general fuckery
  
• Content Warning 3-3-3 for strong language, violence, and sexual themes
  
• Age Restriction 21+ only
  
• Activity Checks occur yearly on the site anniversary; account purging will be performed on accounts with 6+ months of inactivity and threads archived
  
• No minimum requirements for activity but let us know if you’re going to be slow to respond or absent; no explanation required
  
• Three strike system where members will receive two warnings before receiving a ban
  

Character Guidelines

• A limit of 4 characters per player is in place with additional slots being offered during site events
  
• Characters and Face Claims must be at least 18 years old
  
• Aging is static although time passes normally
  

Writing Etiquette

• Basic roleplay etiquette applies; no powerplaying, godmodding, metagaming, etc.
  
• Word count minimum 100 words per post
  
• Spell checking and grammar correction is required for all content on site
  
• Liquid time is allowed, though the site runs along real time
  
• Content warnings are required — mark mature threads [MA] and triggering threads [TW]
  
• Forbidden topics are pedophilia and bestiality
  
• Group threads must allow each writer three days to respond before moving on
  
• Solo threads for character development are allowed
  

Posting Codes

• A minimalistic design has been chosen to allow for a more writing-focused community
  
• It is preferred that posting templates remain along the lines of minimalism
  
• When creating custom post codes do not specify or change the width; this ensures easy readability for mobile users
  
• No hover or scrolling posts
  

Image Usage

• Generative AI usage is forbidden in graphics and writing
  
• No mature content particularly including nudity and gore
  
• No high contrast designs graphics must be easily visible to reduce eye strain
  

Discord Involvement

• Display names must match your username on the site.
  
• Content restrictions apply on the server, please avoid any sensitive topics. No political or hateful topics can be discussed. Please keep NSFW discussions inside the #nsfw-cave.
  
• No horror related images may be shared without content warnings
  

How to Begin

• Read the guide pages! Almost every question should be answered here, but please reach out to staff if you’re still uncertain about something!
  
• Join our Discord no member is required to interact with the Discord, however moderation requests are done through the server as well as community interaction
  
• Register your (personal) account.
  
• Register your first character account. The username should be First Last.
  
• Submit your character’s application. This will be where your personality, history, and other detailed information is kept. Please do not post Work in Progress applications.
  
• Notify staff in our #mod-request channel that your application is complete.
  
• Fill out your character’s account! Include things like an avatar and all character related fields such as specialty and pronouns.
  
• Once approved by staff, you can begin writing! Make sure to post your plotting and tracking threads. Great places to start next include #plot-dev!
